DECCON (DECompression and CONversion) is a utility written in C by Rick Stumpf and Bill Townsley of the U.S. Geological Survey's Center for Coastal Geology. Users can:DECCON source code and pre-compiled binaries are available in the following distributions:
- convert CoastWatch format data files to GIF, TIFF, Sunraster, or raw bytes
- overlay graphics planes
- adjust image features to match overlays
- extract CoastWatch header information
